Archana - 300 persons
The Archana auditorium has a capacity of upto 300 persons and can be utilised for various meetings and stage programs too. The hall is used for large study programmes by political parties and also for youth conferences and church conferences
Aarathi - 100 persons
The open hall which blends into the green campus is one of the oldest and most loved meeting halls in our campus. This can accommodate up to 100 persons and is primarily used for study classes, retreats and public meetings.
Dhyananilayam- 60 persons
The meditation hall is a serene open hall with white marble floors and circular in shape. It’s a space for mediation, yoga, devotional meetings, and other small group meetings and programmes.
Board Room - 20 persons
The Ashram board room is a space for official delegations, board meetings for corporates, small resource group discussions and other small meetings. It is an air conditioned hall and used by small groups.
Chapel - 120 persons
The round chapel at the centre of the property is a beautiful space for Christian retreats and conferences. The chapel is also used by church groups for their services, devotional meetings and spiritual enrichment programmes.
Dormitory
The Dormitory accommodation in Santhigiri ashram is able to accommodate upto 130 persons in 5 different sections. These maybe used according to the number of participants for male and female separately.
Archana - triple occupancy rooms
The Archana rooms have triple occupancy shared accommodation with en-suite bathroom and a balcony. Hot water is available from solar water heater.
Ashram - double occupancy rooms
The Ashram block consist of 10 rooms and was designed in Kerala architecture with naduthalam and skylight which adds to the aesthetic sense within the building. It has double occupancy shared accommodation with en-suite bathroom and a balcony. Hot water is available from solar water heater.
Anunaya AC deluxe rooms
The Anunaya AC deluxe rooms consist of 4 units in two levels. It faces our prayer mountain and closer to the play area for children. The rooms have double occupancy with en-suite bathroom and a balcony. Each room has individual AC, TV and a water heater.
Anaswara AC suite rooms
The suite rooms have a spacious living room and bedroom with triple occupancy with en-suite bathroom and balcony. Each room has individual AC, TV and a water heater.
Ample parking spaces for buses, vans, cars, two wheelers and other vehicles area available for the guests who arrive here by the personal mode of transportation.
The play area is a big attraction for the young and the old who visit our campus. It adds to the relaxation and leisure time which everyone enjoys here.
The prayer garden is a serene place to walk and also sit and spend time in meditation. The life and public ministry of Jesus Christ is depicted in clay models arranged at various points throughout this garden.
This man made pond is a place for collecting our rain water on the campus which is later used during the summer months for our agriculture and irrigation. We also utilise this pond for fish farming. The walkway around the pond is a lace for evening walk by our guests and also the mini amphitheater can be utilized for group activities and get together.
A man made mountain has a winding way to reach up to the highest point on the campus and we have a pergola on the top for small groups to sit and have meaningful conversation and fellowship.
The animal and birds park is one of the most visited and favorite spot for all our guests on campus. We have a collection of almost 20 species of birds and animals. The guests are given an opportunity to have a closer interaction with nature and especially many of our young visitors are excited to be here to have this wonderful experience.
We have set apart almost one third of our property for farming which again adds to the eco friendly experience for our guests to see walk through and have a first hand experience. We cultivate vegetables, fruit trees, spices and other plants which becomes a part of our organic food cooked in our kitchen for our guests.
The Santhigiri Ashram is a bright beacon of hope, love and care for the local community in the Edathala Panchayat. The institution has enabled the livelihood of hundreds of people and their families over the past three decades. The Ashram has also been a source of comfort for many needy and less fortunate families in their various needs and we support the community with our following initiatives:
The Santhigiri Ashram is visioned to serve the local community and since its inception we have been able to support the needy and those in pain in the Edathala panchayat. We have been a source of comfort and support for hundreds of families over the past decades. At present we support about 50 families who are struggling to take care of their loved ones who are cancer patients or other terminally ill patients. We provide a holistic support by helping in their medical needs, monthly provisions and educational needs of their children
The Santhi Dental Clinic is well equipped dental clinic with a full time dentist and also other consulting specialists to provide affordable dental care for our local community members.
The Santhigiri ashram has been providing educational support through scholarships for children who are struggling financially to continue their education in our local community.
The Santhigiri Ashram has been a very strong well wisher and partner to the Edathala Government High school by providing Uniforms for the needy children and also supporting in other needs of the various activities of this school and also the Higher secondary school and two local Anganvadis or day care centre.
